Susan Clow  is a colourful and intuitive artist now focusing on the fibre arts after many years of working as a Medical Artist. Having earned a Fine Art degree from Queen’s University and a Medical Art degree from the University of Toronto, she now applies these skills to fibre. She has won a number of awards, such as 1st Prize at the Canadian Quilt Guild show for Best Large Innovative Quilt, 2004 and 2002, the Award of Excellence and Best Wearable at the Ontario Juried show, 2nd Prize in the Hoffman of California challenge and a grant from the Ontario Arts Council. Her work has been exhibited and published internationally.

Inspired by nature and the world around her, Susan uses her unique illustrations and designs to create beautiful pieces of art in fabric and various other media.

Creating art is her passion but she also enjoys sharing her expertise in art and fibre art with both children and adults. Having lived in various cities across Canada, she has made Ottawa her home for the past fifteen years.

Susan offers a variety of workshops and can be contacted by e-mail or phone for details.
